The Commission decided <br />that each department will designate if they want a salary put into <br />the newspaper ad. <br />4. Anytime a person is hired full-time under a classified position <br />the Department Head should notify the Civil Service Commission and <br />tell them that they need a person off of the certified list - if <br />there is not a list available then a test will be given within 90 <br />days. <br />5. The Commission wants Marella Varanese of the Fire Department put <br />on the civil service time sheet, since she has no other coverage. <br />6. Credit for Seniority will stay the same. One point for each of <br />the first four years. 6/10 point for each additional year up to and <br />including the fourteenth year for a maximum total of 10 points. <br />7. Extra Credit for Efficiency/Evaluation shall be changed as <br />follows: <br />Superior 3.00 points <br />Total Competent 2.00 points <br />Acceptable 1.00 point. <br />Marginal and Unacceptable will not be awarded any points. <br />8. Maximum age limit for Fire/Police Exams. will be 35 years of age <br />at time of appointment. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />As there were no other issues to be brought before the Commission, <br />the meeting adjourned at 6:00 pm. The next Civil Service meeting is <br />scheduled for November 21, 1991 at 4:30 pm in the Old Town Hall <br />Chairm , Henry Robinson Secretar , Tracy Ice <br />
