CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
5200 Dover Center Road • North Olmsted, Ohio 44070
— ' Phone: 777-8000 Ext. 232
Fax: 777-5889
CIVIL SERVICE MEETING MINUTES: June 20, 1994
PRESENT: Chairman Jim Hines, Commissioners Lois Zolar,
Glenn Marks, Secretary Tracy Ice
GUESTS: Carolyn Kasler, Ron Wilamosky
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEET
Chief Building Inspector test:- We'-are having problems finding a
validated test. The only one we have found is CPS out of CA who will
not provide us with another test until their name is released from the
Lewis Robinson case. Ron Wilamosky said that their name will probably
be released in 2-3 months. The other testing company that we found is
located in Bay Village- Personnel Selection Services - the only
problem is, is that they will not validate a test for us. They can
provide us with a test that is not validated. Lastly, Mr. Hines asked
that Tracy call the Lyndhurst Chairman and see if he knows of any
testing companies who could give us a validated Chief Building
Inspector test. Jim says that this is the last resort. Ron Wilamosky
says that he does not think that there will be any openings for the
position of Chief Building Inspector until 1995. Carolyn Kasler said
that because of the freeze, there will probably be a delay. The
Commission will continue to see if we can locate a test for the
future.
