l Address and Close all Business related to the Police Chief Promotional Examination Ramsey & Associates signed the agreement for the Police Chief Promotional Examination. The date of the examination will be September 2, 2006 with a start time of 9:00 am for candidate 91 and 10:00 am for candidate #2. A tentative orientation date is set for Wednesday, August 23, 2006 with the candidates and the chief. The Police Department has offered to open up the facility for the examination and will provide the necessary rooms for the testing company. There will be a special meeting, once the results are returned, to expedite the certification of the highest rank candidate. The Law Department will draft the letter of intent waiver form. 'A general discussion followed concerning the letter of intent; cover letter; eligibility list; orientation date; testing times; posting; establish a passing score before the test is given; efficiency rating; seniority credit; oral assessment. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion pursuant to the obligations for Civil Service for preparing for the promotional examination for Police Chief for the City of North Olmsted, the Civil Service Commission authorize the drafting and distribution of a letter of intent, cover letter, public posting, reference the examination's date as September 2, 2006. The passing score for the examination shall be set as 70% of total points possible. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Draft Request for Proposal for Subsequent Police Promotional Examinations Mr. Ubaldi indicated that he will draft a RFP to OACP, Ramsey & Associates and Stanard & Associates Inc. for the positions of lieutenant and sergeant.
