Ubaldi, W. Hohmann <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Thomas O'Grady, Human Resources Director Cheryl Farver, Safety <br />Director Thomas Terbrack, G. Ruple, Captain K. Whelan, Captain W. Wozniak, Assistant <br />Superintendent D. Sebring, Assistant Law Director B. O'Malley, Civil Service Secretary D. <br />Eccleston <br />DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Review Results from the Police Chief Examination as per Rule III of Civil Service Rules and <br />Regulations <br />The two (2) candidates are identified as Wayne Wozniak, candidate #1 and Kevin Whelan, <br />candidate #2. According to Pat Ramsey and her assessment center, Wayne Wozniak received <br />94.55% with a rank of first and Kevin Whelan received 90.50% with a rank of two. Both <br />candidates were pleased with the professionalism Pat Ramsey and her assessors provided. Both <br />candidates received passing scores. Both candidates received efficiency rating that exceed <br />expectations and exceed fourteen (14) years of seniority therefore one (1) point will be added for <br />efficiency rating and ten (10) points will be added for seniority to their scores. The total scores for <br />each candidate are as follows: Wayne Wozniak 105.55% and Kevin Whelan 101.50%. Pat Ramsey <br />recommended forwarding the narrative to each candidate. The Law Department suggested <br />following Pat Ramsey's recommendation. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion for the extra credit to be applied is derived from the efficiency <br />ratings and seniority. Both candidates have exceeded fourteen (14) years and will receive ten <br />(10) points; both candidates received in their most recent efficiency rating a rating of "exceeds <br />expectation" and will receive one (1) point with a total of 11points each. The final scores are: <br />candidate 91, Wayne Wozniak, 105.55% and candidate #2, Kevin Whelan, 101.50%. Mr. <br />Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. <br />
