V. <br />VI. <br />follows: Police - 2/8/07 deadline for Westlife; 2/9/07 deadline for the Plain Dealer; 2/10/07 <br />distribute ad to colleges and libraries; 2/12/07 packets made available; 3/8/07 packet deadline; <br />3/19/07 Civil Service meeting; 3/24/07 written examination; 4/16/07 Civil Service meeting to <br />establish Police Eligible List; Fire — 2/22-23/2007 deadline for newspapers; 2/24/07 distribute ad to <br />colleges and libraries; 2/26/07 application packets available; 3/15/07 application packet deadline; <br />3/26/07 special Civil Service meeting; 3/31/07 written examination; 4/23/07 special Civil Service <br />meeting to establish Firefighter Eligible List. The Police Examination will be administered on <br />3/24/07 and the Firefighter/Paramedic Examination will be on 3/31/07. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to implement two (2) examinations as in the aforementioned <br />outline and to direct the secretary and/or the Assistant Law Director as required, respectively, <br />for details pertaining to the examination and the contract therefor. Ms. Zolar seconded the <br />motion and unanimously approved. <br />Dates are to be confirmed with the testing company and the location site as well as Tri -C for the <br />Agility Test. A flyer with the testing dates from Tri -C will need to be distributed to the applicants. <br />The Civil Service Commission is not obligated to provide a study guide. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Ubaldi presented the results of the Promotional Police Lieutenant Examination results. Eight (8) <br />Police Sergeants were invited to participate; five (5) participated; four (4) passed the written <br />examination; four (4) participated in the oral assessment. The written and oral score are factored at <br />50% - 50%. Candidate #1 is Michael Kilbane; he scored 81% on the written and 97.55% on the <br />oral; his efficiency score was (M) Meets Expectations — 0.0% extra credit; his seniority credit was <br />9.4%; final score was 98.67%. Candidate #2 is Jeffrey Medves; he scored 89% on the written and <br />85.37% on the oral; his efficiency score was (M) Meets Expectations — 0.0% extra credit; his <br />seniority credit was 10.0%; final score was 97.18%. Candidate #3 is David Huspaska; he scored <br />74% on the written and 90.77% on the oral; his efficiency score was (M) Meets Expectations — <br />0.0% extra credit; his seniority credit was 10.0%; final score was 92.38%. Candidate #4 is David <br />Bonnell; he scored 85% on the written and 85.50% on the oral; his efficiency score was (M) Meets <br />Expectations — 0.0% extra credit; his seniority credit was 10.0%; final score 95.25%. In order, the <br />four (4) Sergeants are ranked: #1 Michael Kilbane, #2 Jeffrey Medves, #3 David Bonnell, #4 David <br />Huspaska. <br />M. Ubaldi made a motion to certify Michael Kilbane to the appointing authority for the rank <br />of Police Lieutenant. Karen Zolar seconded the motion and unanimously approved. <br />Police Chief Wozniak inquired to the Commission if there are any plans on administering a test for <br />the Corrections Officer. Mr. Ubaldi indicated by late April or May a test may be scheduled.
