CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED LQ \,\61 <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />MAYOR'S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />MINUTES - APRIL 16, 2007 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: Chairman M. Ubaldi called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT: M. Ubaldi and W. Hohmann <br />ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Law Director B. O'Malley, Human Resources Director Cheryl <br />Farver, Civil Service Secretary Donna Eccleston <br />II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />The Civil Service minutes dated March 19, 2007 and March 26, 2007 have been submitted for <br />approval. <br />Mr. Ubaldi had one (1) recommended change for the March 19, 2007 minutes. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to accept the minutes as amended. Mr. Hohmann seconded the <br />motion and unanimously approved. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />There were 20 items of correspondence received and 15 items of correspondence sent out by the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />Mr. Ubaldi indicated two (2) items received has led to business items that are added to the agenda. <br />Bay Village Civil Service Commission requested information regarding the Civil Service extra <br />credit for Police Officer Entry -Level Examination. The secretary has been requested to respond. <br />State Board of Review has forward their annual report. The secretary will provide the necessary <br />information. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Review Entry -Level Police Examination Results <br />Mr. Ubaldi reviewed the list and indicated that the Commission has already made a motion on the extra <br />credit points. There is one (1) tie that resulted in a coin toss. Thomas Wojnarowski II, ranked #12 and <br />Steven Kopinske, ranked #13. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to establish the eligible list for the rank of Patrol Officer. Mr. Hohmann <br />seconded the motion and unanimously approved. <br />
