Applicants bringing cell phones the day of the test should leave them in their cars. A sign will be <br />provided and a notation will be made on the front of the application packet. <br />The Commission is requiring the agility certification "prior" to the test instead of "after" the test. A <br />suggestion was made to include the following language "Candidates must present certification of <br />eligibility upon application." <br />Dr. Doverspike recommended the 201 series test from IPMA. This entails 100 questions and also <br />measures a non -cognitive ability and a personality test. The cost will be $15 per test and scoring <br />will be done by IPMA at 50 cents per test with a $40 set up fee. An inquiry was made to Poly -Tech <br />regarding their fee to administer the entrance exam. <br />Chairman Barrett reviewed the calendar: <br />PD ad on March 23rd <br />Applications available on March 24th <br />Tri -C will be having an agility test on March 34t" and May 01 <br />Stark State College will have an agility test on April 12th <br />Deadline for submitting applications is on May 9th <br />Commission will be reviewing applications on April 21" and May 19" <br />Examination will be on June 7"', and <br />Review of results and certify the eligible list will be on June 16th <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to accept the Entry -Level <br />Firefighter/Paramedic examination calendar, application packet, Plain Dealer ad, and the <br />City's website advertisement. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />V.
