CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM MINUTES -- OCTOBER 20, 2014 7:00 P.M. L ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. PRESENT: J. Barrett, M. Hayes and K. Rahm ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director C. Farver, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, Safety Director D. Glauner, Firefighter K. Zywiec, Firefighter M. Peters, Fire Lieutenant T. Gut, Fire Lieutenant B. Shlapack, S. Barrett, Civil Service Secretary D. Eccleston and Civil Service Secretary S. Berkley 11. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: The Civil Service minutes dated June 16, 2014, July 21, 2014, August 11, 2014, and September 15, 2014, have been submitted for approval. Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the minutes of the June 16, 2014 meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the minutes of the July 21, 2014 meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the minutes of the August 11, 2014 special meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the minutes of the September 15, 2014 meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. III. COMMUNICATIONS: There were 5 items of correspondence received and 14 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil Service Commission, IV. OLD BUSINESS: Hearing for Removal of Names on the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to remove the names of James StoIarik, Jr., Michael Pische, Anthony Palcisko, Dominique Whitney, Prezemslaw Piekut, Thomas Daley, Mitchell Gobely, and Joseph Ruic from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible
