Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to certify the names of Ty Bromund, <br />Blake Ignasiask, Edward Manney, Eddie Chernisky and Doug Kallin to the Entry -Level <br />Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Secretary II Test <br />A general discussion commenced regarding the Secretary II Examination Process, calendar, and <br />amount of packets. The thirty-five (3 5) applications for Police and Building secretaries through <br />traditional recruitment determined the cap of forty (40) application packets to be made for the Civil <br />Service Secretary II test. General discussion continued about the examination fee for the Secretary <br />II test and the outcome of the discussion was a fee of $25.00 to take the examination. Human <br />Resources will administer the test and reconfiguring the test so it is different for people who have <br />taken it previously. Chairman Barrett brought up the passing score of 70% to move on to the second <br />part of the test. <br />Chairman Barrett reviewed the calendar: <br />PD ad on April 26th <br />Applications available on April 27th <br />Deadline for submitting applications is on May 1 Ith <br />Commission will be reviewing applications on May 18th <br />Examination will start May 29th <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to accept the proposed dates as <br />submitted for Entry -Level Clerical examination Plain Dealer ad, and the notifications to the libraries <br />and submitting the applications and proposed application dates that will be adjusted as needed, <br />maximum application packets will be set at forty (40), application fee will be set at $25.00, and <br />passing score will be a minimum of 70% the applicant must pass the first part of the examination to <br />go onto the second part, and we are waiving the fee for the prior individuals who were on the <br />original eligibility list. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />V. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m. <br />
