Promotional Written Examination -Tie Score <br />General discussion commenced regarding Rule IV Section 3 that the tie score for a promotional <br />examination does not specify what do in the event there is tie score for the written portion of the <br />promotional examination in order to move on to the oral portion of the examination. Asst. Law <br />Director B. O'MalleywilI propose language for Rule IV Section 3 to clarify what to do in the event <br />if a there is a tie score in the written examination. <br />Entry -Level Patrol Officer Examination <br />General discussion commenced regarding the passing score and the examination fee for the entry- <br />level patrol officers exam. The passing score was set at seventy percent (70%) and the fee for the <br />test was set at thirty-five dollars ($35,00). Safety Director D. Glauner stated that the department is <br />looking to hire. six (6) officers off the eligible list. <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to set the passing score for the <br />Entry -Level Patrol Officer examination at seventy percent (70%) and to set the fee at thirty- <br />five dollars ($35.00). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />V1. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motioned passed unanimously.
