CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM MINUTES -- SEPTEMBER 21, 2015 7:00 P.M. I. ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. PRESENT: J. Barrett and K. Rahm ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director C. Farver, Asst. Law Director B, O'Malley, S. Barrett, and Civil Service Secretary S. Berkley II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: Motion for the minutes of May 18, 2015 have been approved as received. Motion passed unanimously. Motion for the minutes of June 15, 2015 have been approved as received. Motion passed unanimously. Motion for the minutes of July 13, 2015 have been approved as received. Motion passed unanimously. Motion for the minutes of August 3, 2015 have been approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. III. COMMUNICATIONS: There were 9 items of correspondence received and 47 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil Service Commission. IV. OLD BUSINESS: Amendment of Rule VII Section 9 Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to accept the amended language as submitted regarding Rule VI1, Section 9, a candidate being certified three (3) times to two (2) times. Motion passed unanimously. V. NEW BUSINESS: Firefighter/Paramedic Entry -Level Eligible List A hearing letter was sent to Eddie Chernisky; to remove his name from the Firefighter/Paramedic Entry -Level Eligible List. The candidate was not present at the meeting. Pursuant to Rule VII, Section 9, his name will be removed from the Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List.
