CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM <br />MINUTES - MARCH 21, 2016 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. <br />PRESENT: J. Barrett, M. Hayes and K. Rahm <br />ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director C. Farver, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, <br />Safety Director D. Glauner, S. Barrett, and Civil Service Secretary S. Berkley <br />II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the minutes of the February <br />22, 2016 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />There were 25 items of correspondence received and 41 items of correspondence sent out by the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Hearings Regarding Removal of Names on the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to remove the names of David <br />Cummings and Nathan Ciarrone from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List pursuant to Rule <br />VII, Section 9 (i). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to certify the names of Joseph <br />Ruess, Craig Beese and Ryan Dimatteo to the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to accept the amended Entry - <br />Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Chairman Barrett, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, , to set for hearing the removal of <br />Colin Borchert, Justin Schifko, Drew Lima, Devin Woods, Zachary Reece, Matthew Omilion, <br />David Jones, Joshua Twigg, Thomas Bernatchez, Douglas Hayes, David Garber Jr., and Mathew <br />Rector names from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List pursuant to Rule VII, Section 9 (d). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
