Page 2 - Annual Report - Board of Building Code Appeals <br />Fegulnr Meeting - March 19, 1969 <br />Public Hearing required. by Ordinance #3138, requested by Buckeye T3ouse Festaura.nt to use <br />residential property locpted at 3601 West 232 Street zoned for retail business for <br />storage, office space and dressing rooms for the adjacent reotnurant. Mr. Seidel -moved <br />to grant a one year permit based on storage of non -combustibles in the basement and use <br />of the first floor for offices and employee d.rersing rooms only. Mr. McEntee seconded <br />the notion. Unanimously passed. <br />Mr. Buss and Mr. BA.11ard arneared with a request to use plastic drainage tubing, made <br />by the St. Stephens Tile Co., within the City of Nortk Olmsted. Mr. Gilbert moved to <br />accent use of rerforated flexible drainage pipe in addition to present standn.rds of <br />2..6-45 of the Regional Dwelling Code for footer drains. Effective 5/1/69 the product <br />known as ADS -401 drain^-ge tubing made by Advanced Drainage of Ohio and furthur described <br />as 4" corrugated rlRstic drainage tubing as certified by tests of the Toledo Testing <br />Ln'�oratory #366355 dn.ted 2/13/69. As a ^utter of installation, until such_tLme as Ls <br />are manufactured, blind T" must be used., proper couplings inst.^11ed and 12" slag. <br />Product can be used for footing tile and irindow well drains only. Acceptance is <br />rroba.tionary for a period of 60 days. Mr. McEntee seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />Mr. Bob Stein of Living Homes £:^reare-11 regarning the use of poured brick. It was decided <br />that Board :neritberc would inspect basements where the product had been used before .Waking <br />any decision. <br />Mr, Howard Olson of B. F. Goodrich Co. and Mr. Stein appeared with P. renuest to use <br />construction ad'iesive for sub floor bonding.
