Discussion was held. Mr. Ruggles moved <br />® to recommend to Council to establish a limit of 60 decibles at the property line <br />as recommended by Recommended Technical Requirements of an Ordinance to Regulate <br />Sound Produced by Air Conditioning Equipment; seconded by Mr. Seidel and unanimously <br />passed; <br />Regular Meeting- June 16, 1971 <br />A letter from ohn and Violet Staskus, 6180 Sherwood Dr. was read regarding a <br />complaint on air conditioners owned by adjacent neighbors. A discussion was <br />held. Permits were issued and they were approved by inspectors after their <br />installation. Mr. Dansberg moved to send copies of Mr. & Mrs. Staskust letter <br />to the Law Director for his recommendation and to council for their consideration <br />on a new sound ordinance. Mr, Seidel seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />Regular Meeting - August 18, 1971 <br />Mr. Frank Hollo appeared regarding the use of cement stucco on exterior of homes <br />being built in Canterbury 'Moods. He presented photographs of similar homes in <br />Elyria and stated that a Spanish atmosphere is desired. Discussion was held <br />and it was determined that this would fall under section 1581.04 of the <br />Regional Code. Mr. Dansberg moved to approve use for one year with Mr. Gundy►s <br />approval; seconded by Mr. Seidel and unanimously passed, <br />Regular Meeting - September 29, 1971 <br />Public hearing before the Board, required by Ordinance #64-113 requested by D. W. <br />Rankin, Inc. to use Thoroseal with "Acryl 60" as exterior finish on three elevations <br />of building addition to Parker Reynolds Chevrolet Inc., located at 26890 Lorain Rd. <br />Mr. Seidel moved to approve the use of Thoroseal with Acryl 60. It was seconded by <br />Mr. Ruggles and unanimously passed. <br />Regular Meeting - October 20, 1971 <br />Public hearing before the Board, required by Ordinance #64-113, requested by Shell <br />Oil Company to reface the exterior of the gas station located at 24650 Lorain Rd. <br />with Clay Brick on Fibreboard. This case and three others were heard. A decision <br />was not made until a special meeting, as there was no quorum. <br />Special Meeting - October 27, 1971 <br />On the advice of Law Director, Bruce Kitchen, the proceedings of Wednesday, October <br />20, were approved and a special meeting was called to approve the matters that came <br />up. Mr. Schulz made a motion to approve the station at 21650 Lorain Road, (Shell). <br />It was seconded by Mr. Dansberg and unanimously approved. <br />A discussion was held regarding the use of Dryvit Quarzputz. Mr. Seidel said that <br />he is in favor of using a troweled on material instead of a spray -on type. Mr. <br />Seidel made a motion to approve the use of Dryvit Quarzputz and rescind the former <br />approval of Ebrospray. It was seconded by Mr. Ruggles and unanimously passed. <br />Regarding H & R Realty, the Board looked at the precast panel, which is six inches <br />thick. A discussion was held. Mr. Gundy stated that this is a factory built <br />material, the application is adequate, and it more than meets all design levels. <br />Mr. Seidel moved to approve the precast panel; it was seconded by Mr. Ruggles and <br />unanimously approved, <br />1J <br />
