Property is zoned B-3 General Business. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A variance for 1 additional ground sign on a lot; property is permitted 6 ground signs; <br />applicant shows 7 ground signs; Section 1163.27(a). <br />Note: Variances for ground sign quantity were granted at the June 4, 1986, June 8, 1988 and <br />November 1, 1989 BZA meetings. <br />Ms. Lieber stated Corporate Center is installing new signage on the campus consisting of <br />replacing existing signs with new signage of comparable size in existing locations. They are <br />proposing to add one ground sign at the driveway from Country Club Boulevard. Sign size and <br />total square footage are compliant. The Board may notice that there are eight total signs shown in <br />the submittal; however, one of the signs for the Corporate Center is an off -premise sign located <br />on the Radisson property. Mr. DiAlfredi said the JMS Capital Group has many clients that visit <br />for short periods of time. The additional sign is requested to allow clients to find the hotel <br />quickly from Country Club Boulevard. Mr. Allain said the property is large with many points of <br />access. Mr. Raig did not think the current signs are conspicuous so the proposed sign would be <br />helpful. Mr. Papotto thought the graphics were helpful showing how the sign would fit in. <br />Mr. Allain moved, seconded by Mr. Papotto, to approve the following variance for 19- <br />14922; Corporate Center; 25000 Country Club Boulevard: <br />1.
