PROGRAMS:
We are moving forward and are continuing to build our boys Lacrosse teams. We have partnered with
Positive Coaching Alliance and we will run two live clinics a year from them. It is geared toward the
Leaders of youth sports programs they work with coaches, parents, administrators and children to help
get everyone on the same page and to keep it more about the sport not just the score in hopes of
improving Youth sports.
We are happy to announce the Hockey Club is donating a scoreboard and Community Council is
donating double grills for the pavilion at North Olmsted Park.
REVENUE / EXPENSE:
Revenue for Gymnastics was down in 2019 due to financial restructuring that included charging a flat
fee for space rental and team fees, decline in enrollment and staffing changes. Fitness revenue for
2019 was down slightly so we are looking into offering some additional pass options for patrons.
Overall expenses for 2019 were on track.
In 2020 we have increased expenses due to employee raises. We are looking to purchase a small utility
van to use for events and projects.
2020 RECREATION COMMISSION GOALS:
The commission would like to continue meeting on a quarterly basis.
