Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Morse, to approve the Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for a new garage and windows on the east side of the house for 21-18538; <br />Biltmore Properties; 26512 Butternut Ridge Road, with the condition that the garage be <br />side gabled to match the house. Motion passed 7-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />2020 Year in Review <br />Mr. Neville pointed out that the school building shown in the first grade class of 1934 photo was <br />not the same building that was damaged when classes were moved to the IX Center. Mr. Limpert <br />suggested that the wording be updated to explain that the building became the middle school and <br />was later demolished. Mr. Neville suggested removing "against" from the City Response section <br />and asked that the division reference in the Senior Center section be clarified. Mr. Morse <br />suggested wording changes to the description of the Senior Center changes resulting from the <br />pandemic. Ms. Lieber will try to find a better image of the Senior Center as well. Mr. Morse <br />suggested adding "ground -mounted" to the description of the solar panels that were approved as <br />a minor change at 30095 Lorain Road. He also suggested splitting up the sentence regarding the <br />installation of guardrails on Berkshire Drive. <br />Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the 2020 Year in Review <br />with the suggested edits, motion passed 7-0. <br />Other Business <br />Mr. Limpert asked if the canceled events in 2020 would be rescheduled for this year. Ms. Lieber <br />said the North Olmsted Journey was not budgeted for 2021 because of the uncertainty of the <br />pandemic. Mr. Neville added that the Olmsted Historical Society is cautiously moving towards <br />having in person events this summer but were not planning for the North Olmsted Journey in <br />2021.
