Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to remove Candidate <br />original rank #3 due to voluntary removal and certify candidate original rank #7. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Promotional Fire Lieutenant Written Examination/"lime Change <br />The Fire Lieutenant examination has been scheduled for September 11, 2021 at 10:00; however, the <br />Fire Department usually partakes in a 9/11 ceremony. This ceremony starts at 9:45 am and will <br />conclude at 10:15 am. "The administration is requesting from the Commission to change the starting <br />time for the promotional testing from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The testing company and the testing <br />site can accommodate the time change. Candidates will be notified of the time change. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to change the start time for <br />the Promotional Fire Lieutenant examination from 10:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021 to <br />11:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The rest of the items on the posting will remain the <br />same. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Promotional Police Sergeant Written Examination/Protests <br />The first protest is question #15: General discussion commenced regarding the protest; reviewing <br />the question that is taken directly from the resource material. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, that the protest is denied <br />and that the Commission supports the recommendation of the testing agency. <br />Motion passed unanimously <br />The second protest is question #146: General discussion commenced regarding the protest, hours <br />worked/vacation; holiday pay; double time for certain holidays; CBA used as a reference; throwing <br />out the question. <br />Motion by Commissioner Campbell, seconded by Commissioner Brake, to uphold the protest and to <br />accept both B and C as the correct answers and to remove the question oil future exams. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Pre -Employment Testing/Psychological <br />The Administration is looking into psychological testing for Entry -Level and Lateral Transfers. <br />Currently they are using Pradco which deals with behavioral and psychological but is interested in <br />digging a little bit deeper. The Administration did some research and liked Cleveland <br />Psychological Testing. Their cost per applicant is $650 and the Administration feels this is a good <br />direction to go in and are looking to add another testing tool. General discussion commenced <br />regarding the pre-employment testing process and the psychological testing for both Entry -Level <br />and Lateral Transfers. <br />
