PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2021 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Malone called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm via online public meeting. <br />Present: Greg Malone, Dave Anderson, Darrick Matthews, Humberto Olivos, Tom Patton <br />Absent: Julie Nader, Paul Schumann <br />Staff: Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, City Engineer Pietro DiFranco, Administrative <br />Assistant Nicole Rambo -Ackerman <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Anderson pointed out that Ms. Nader opened the meeting, not Mr. Malone. <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to approve the corrected Planning & <br />Design Commission minutes of August 25, 2021, motion passed 5-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />21-20188; Douglas Kent; 4461 Dover Center Road <br />Representative: Douglas Kent, 4461 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, OH <br />The proposal consists of splitting 0.0316 acres from PPN 232-23-023, and consolidating it with <br />PPN 232-23-118. Both parcels are zoned A -One Family Residence and are occupied by single <br />family homes. Mr. DiFranco recommended approval after a few changes are made. City official <br />names should be added to the plat and it should be submitted to the Cuyahoga County Tax Map <br />office for preliminary review. Mr. Kent lives on Dover Center Road and is selling a portion of <br />his lot to his neighbor on Williamstown. Mr. Kent said the plat submitted was approved by the <br />County and was unsure what pre -approval document he needed, Mr. DiFranco said he could <br />submit an email from them showing they have reviewed it. The updated plan can be sent to Mr. <br />DiFranco electronically before printing the mylar. Mr. O'Malley added that the survey <br />professional usually addresses the requirements and it is not unusual to receive comments that <br />need to be addressed before final approval. He recommended the Commission proceed with <br />approval conditioned upon the Engineer's comments being addressed. <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to approve the lot split and consolidation <br />for 21-20188; Douglas Kent; 4461 Dover Center Road consisting of splitting 0.0316 acres <br />from PPN 232-23-023 and consolidating it with PPN 232-23-118, conditioned upon the City <br />Engineer's comments being addressed, motion passed 5-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />CDBG Public Hearing <br />The public hearing to discuss potential projects will be online September 22 at 6PM. <br />
