CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 20, 2021 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: Commissioner Brake called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. <br />PRESENT: A. Campbell <br />ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, Civil Service Secretary S. Freeland, Sgt. C. <br />Fioritto and Connor Mares <br />ABSENT: Human Resources Director M. Gallo <br />II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, that the minutes of the <br />September 22, 2021 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />There were 2 items of correspondence received and 20 items of correspondence sent out by the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Entry -Level Firefighter Eligible List <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to remove entry-level fire <br />candidate Ethan Bansek pursuant to Rule VII Section 10. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Fire Lateral Eligible List <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to remove candidates <br />current rank #2 and #6 pursuant to Rule VII Section 10. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Commissioner Campbell, seconded by Commissioner Brake, to certify the name of <br />current rank #7 to the Lateral Firefighter Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Police Lateral Eligible List <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to remove lateral police <br />candidates current rank #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 17, 18 and 20 pursuant to Rule VII <br />Section 9(h). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
