Director Upton explained that there was a variance request in the past that was approved, and not <br />they wanted to increase the size of the variance to reflect changed brand standard and that they <br />were in support of this. Mr. Copley reiterated the changed brand standard and the way to <br />accomplish this look was to change the overhang. <br />Ms. Patton moved; seconded by Mr. Kovach; to approve 23-23623; Joel Copley, Janotta & <br />Herner Inc./KG Real Estate Investments Westside LLC, 25730 Lorain Road, Ken Ganley <br />Hyundai as written. <br />Board members discussed and agreed there were no objections. <br />Motion Passed: 4-0 <br />23-23622; Archer Sign Corporation/Sgt. Proposed 7.99sgft sign and 30" from grade to bottom of sign. <br />Property is zoned B-4 Mixed Use Business. <br />Representative: Scott Farnsworth 1917 Henry Ave SW, Canton OH <br />Director Upton explained the desire to have the sign be more visible from Lorain Road. The <br />department saw this as a reasonable request. Mr. Farnsworth reiterated the request. Mr. Gareau <br />expressed his approval outside of law that it would be better to be more visible from the busy <br />intersection and would allow drivers to slow before the entrance rather than pass and build up on <br />the other street for the other entrance. <br />Ms. Patton moved; seconded by Mr. Kovach; to approve 23-23622; Archer Sign <br />Corporation/Sgt.
