19 <br />COMMERCIAL APPEALS AND REQUESTS <br />119-2024; Ohio Junk Force; 30033 Lorain Rd. <br />A proposal was made to construct a new structure for a junk removal business, which would <br />include storage for dump trucks, a workshop, office space, and a showroom. The applicant - <br />requested four variances: a 4.45 -foot variance for lot width, a reduction in parking spaces from <br />18 to 13, a 40 -foot variance for the front setback, and a 10 -foot variance for the street lawn. The <br />department supported all the variance requests. Concerns were raised about drainage and soil <br />conditions, which the applicant addressed by explaining the design for water management, <br />including a swale for runoff. <br />Mr. Kovach motioned to approve 119-2024; Ohio Junk Force; 30033 Lorain Rd.; seconded by <br />Ms. Patton. <br />Motion Passed: 4-0 <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Rahm motioned to approve the absence of Mr. Papotto; all in favor, none opposed. <br />With no further business before the board, the meeting adjourned at 8:27 p.m. <br />t�7 +/I'V <br />Bob Papotto,'Chair <br />App . roved: MgL <br />60 <br />Lyn Wilson, Administrative Assistant <br />
