It was suggested that the applicant provide a formal traffic engineer study, an updated survey, <br />and work with public safety forces to address clearance and emergency vehicle access concerns. <br />A calculation of usable square footage was also recommended for parking purposes. A landscape <br />plan was requested, as there were concerns about the lack of clarity between the applicant and <br />administration on proposed landscaping. The applicant agreed to table the discussion to allow for <br />further development of these plans. The landscape plan was described as showing some proposed <br />trees and shrubs, with a willingness to work with the city on the final details. <br />Mr. David motioned to table 188-2024; Saver's; 26035 Lorain Road until March 26, 2025; <br />seconded by Mr. Peeples. <br />Motion passed: 5-0 <br />A mixed-use zoning overlay for the entire 140 -acre mall property was introduced, which had <br />been in development for six months with a grant from the Cuyahoga County Planning <br />Commission. This was scheduled for the March 12th agenda, with a presentation on transit - <br />oriented development planned for March 26th. The discussion would focus on the concept and <br />zoning overlays for Lorain Road, a key recommendation from the Lorain Road Plan.
