North Olmsted Arts Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting—August 25, 2025 <br /> The meeting of the North Olmsted Arts Commission was called to order. <br /> Attendance: <br /> • Keith Behrendt, Mark Mallett, Sue Begin, Tahania Mousa, Becky Tesar, <br /> Lori Kershner <br /> • Brian O'Malley, Assistant Law Director <br /> • Sarah Henley, Administrative Support <br /> Membership Acknowledgment <br /> • Discussion was held regarding Jacobs' membership status. It was <br /> noted that no formal documentation on his withdrawal had been <br /> received, only-an email. <br /> • Consensus was to acknowledge his resignation/absence with a thank <br /> you letter and note that he is welcome to return in the future. <br /> • Suggestion was made that the Mayor's Office create a universal thank- <br /> you form letter for all commissions. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> • Motion made to approve the minutes of the July 15, 2025 meeting. <br /> • Motion seconded. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> New Business <br /> • Code Amendments: <br /> o Two amendments to update sections 159.04 and 159.05 were <br /> noted as pending before Council. <br /> • Brian O'Malley, Assistant Law Director indicated a Council committee <br /> meeting would be scheduled. 7 <br /> • Art Road Project: <br /> o It was confirmed that the project is still ongoing. <br /> o No new updates available at this time. <br /> Old Business <br /> • Park Collaboration Project: <br /> o Previous discussions regarding artwork in city parks were <br /> revisited. <br /> o Director Pinchek is scheduled to attend the September meeting <br /> to discuss further. <br /> • "Cleveland-Style" Sign Concept: <br />
