OLD BITSINESS :
Continuing study of the North Olmsted Master Plan.
Prior to the discussion, Mr. Schulz, County PlarLn;ng Commission, explained tha.t
they have contacted the Ohio Department of Transportation to, determine if
Brookpaxk Road is a limited access or a controlled access road, and to also get
a definite answer as to who is responsible for maintenance. He also asked if the
members could give their comments regarding the undeveloped parcels which axe not
in a focus area (a map of these areas was presented previously). Mr. Tressler,
C.P.C., presented a development impact analysis of parcel 49 in Focus area A-2
(the proposed site of A Stones Throw Apartment Complex.) for the members'
in.formation. He presented maps 2 and 3 which showed Focus Area "B" and explained
that map 3 indicated by rnnnber each parcel involved in this study. There are at
least two wetland areas identified on the national inventory map: parcel nunber
18 (part of the former city land fill) and site rnunber 88 (the reax of the
recreation center). Building Commissioner Conway clarified tha.t these inventory
maps really identify possible wetlands, and it was possible there could be
wetlands elsewhere which are not identified. Mr. Tressler agreed stating that
this map is a starting point. He noted that.paxcels 17 through 21 were part of a
former landfill, and parcel 18 is now covered with trees. There have been few.
zoning changes in this area in the past 20 yeaxs. A proposal had been approved
1
