CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD <br />OCTOBER 16, 1996 <br />NOTES FROM BRIAN ZERGOTT <br />PLEASE HAVE EVERY REPRESENTATIVE GIVE NAME. ALSO, IF ANY RESIDENTS <br />ARE PRESENT, THEY MUST INTRODUCE THEMSELVES. <br />1) The Blind Factory, 4725 Crreat Northem Blvd. <br />O.K. I think logo is important. <br />2) Buckeye Lanes, 24488 Lorain Road. <br />If lighting is mentioned I denied that under a minor change 2 weeks ago. <br />Signs are O.K. <br />3) United Wireless, 25553 Lorain Road. <br />Top of sign and logo is fine. Do not list products. <br />N. OLD BUSINESS: - <br />1) Studio Plus, located on the south side of Country Club Boulevard, east of Victoria Plaza Apartments. <br />Proposal to construct a hotel including signs. <br />, 1. Landscape design is very good. <br />2. Do they accomplish members goals with entrance. <br />3. Get names of all materials and colors. <br />4. Sign package is okay. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Chuck E Cheese, 26104 Great Northern Shopping Center. <br />Revised proposal to install awnings on existing building. <br />Referred by plauning commission October 8, 1996. <br />Planning Pretty firm on NO! <br />Offer Suggestions. I will not o.k. 2 different styles running into each other. <br />2) Mongello & Associates, Inc. Office Building, 25128 Lorain Road (former fire station). <br />Proposal to remodel existing building for office/retail use. <br />Austrian pine should be,used instead of hemlock. <br />Landscape design not okay. Please recommend that they get a landscape designer. <br />3) Homestead Village Hotel, located on the south side of Country Club Blvd., east of the proposed <br />MaYriott Courtyard, north of I-480, and west of Columbia Road. <br />Proposal to constiuct hotel. <br />I do not recommend Azaleas on commercial sites. <br />Also, I need to know quantities of plans per area and also sizes. <br />I question whether or not crabs and spruce will have enough room up against building. <br />Also, more variety of shrubs along building, not just hedges. <br />Will vision be blocked at exit and entrance. <br />No sign location indicated and no landscaping around sign is shown. <br />Possibly should get a local landscape architect.
