<br />{ <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - JANUARY 2, 1985 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, R. Gomersall, E. Graves, J. Helon, and C. Remmel. <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, <br />Councilman R. Bierman, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />R. Bugala moved to accept the Minutes of December 5, 1984 as read, sec- <br />onded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />Election of Officers: <br />E. Graves moved to nominate Chester Remmel as Chairman for the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals for the City of North Olmsted, seconded by R. Bugala. No <br />other nominations were made. Roll call on motion: Graves, Bugala, Helon, <br />and Gomersall, Aye. Remmel, Nay. Motion passed; Mr. Remmel is chairman <br />for 1985. <br />R. Bugala nominated Edward Graves as vice-Chairman, seconded by J. Helon. <br />No other nominations were made. Roll call on motion: Bugala, Helon, <br />Gomersall, Graves, and Remmel, Aye. Motion passed; Mr. Graves is Vice- <br />Chairman for 1985. <br />Chairman Remmel advised that the continued case, Self Service Maxi Wash, <br />would be heard at the end of the meeting. <br />Victor Russell, 24804 Gessner Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of tool shed <br />(constructed - 15' from rear property line). Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151.04-D. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Russell, who explained that they constructed <br />the shed without knowing that a building permit was required; size.of shed <br />conforms, location is approximately 15' from rear property line since a <br />ditch is on the rear. Mr. Bugala stated that he had no objection since lot <br />is 350' deep. R. Bugala moved to grant the variance provided that the <br />building and its height and area meet all existing codes, seconded by E. <br />Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2. Ground Round Restaurant (Artkraft, Inc.), 24250 Lorain Rd. <br />No representative present, will be called later in meeting. <br />3. Bob's Big Boy (Marriott Corp.), 26770 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13).
