?- .
CITX OF NORTH OLMSTED
BQARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS
MTNUTES - JUNE 27, 1985
I. ROLL CALL:
Chairman Kazak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Present: R. Burk, J. Kasak, R. Puzzitiello. Mr. Schulz arrived at 7:55 p.m.
Absent: J. Patton
Also Present: Buildi.ng Commissioner E. Gundy (arrived after another meeting)
and Recording Secretary B. Oring.
II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES:
J. Puzzitiello moved to approve the Minutes of May 23, 1985 as presented,
seconded by R. Burk, and unanimously approved.
III. NEW BUSINESS:
1) C. & C. Realty, 27932 Lorain Rd., No. Olmsted, OH.
Request permission to move house from 27881 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted
to permanent parcel #235-12-51 & 52 (property assembled at Planning
Commission meeting on May 28, 1985), Sublot "B'? Porter Rd. Hearing
required Ord. 63-224.
Chairman Kazak administered the oath to Mr. Halleen, the developer,
Mr. Steiner and Mr. Cornish, neighbors. Proposal was explained: ditch
on front of property will be landscaped; driveway will be installed over
a bridge; breezeway and garage at present location will not be moved.
Inspection report was read stating that house would be suitable to
moved. The oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Bryk, neighbor, at
this time. They would like to see property developed since lot has '
become a nuisance. Neighbors would like a culvert pipe instead of an
open ditch. This is a county ditch and would probably not be possible.
Mr. Halleen stated that they would leave as many of the trees as pos-
sible in front of the ditch. House will probably be moved through the
adjacent sublot A. House is a bungalow and is similar to other homes
in the neighborhood. R. Puzzitiello moved to accept the house move
from 27881 Lorain Rd. to permanent parcel #235-12-51 and 52, sublot B,
with the condition that the land surrounding house be brought to fin-
ished grade and ditch and property be landscaped presentably within one
year, seconded by R. Burk, and unanimously approved.
IV. OLD BUSINESS:
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Sezonov had been requested by letter to appear before
the Board to advise when and how the front elevation of the house they
moved to 5201 Dover Center Road would be finished as approved. Mrs.
Sezonov stated that one of their original plans with a vestibule would not
be feasible. Board reminded them that several elevations had been pre-
sented to the Board at the time the house move was approved. Board studied
