ROLL CALL: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - JUNE 22, 1983 <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case and S. Ebin <br />Absent: J. Cavaluchi and R. Mongello <br />Also Present: • Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />S. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of May 18, 1983 as presented, <br />seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIQNS: <br />(a) Sopata Construction Co., 24834 Lorain Rd. <br />Wall sign (heard with building plans). <br />(b) House of Lights, to be located between 23905 and 24401 Lorain Rd. <br />Wall and pole sign (heard with building plans). <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />(a) Pick and Pay Food Palace (Kekst Associates, Architect),, 26350 <br />Great Northern Shopping Center <br />Mr. G. Richland of Great Northern Shopping Center presented <br />the plans for the expanded metal screening which will be in <br />a buff color to match the split face block walls. If possible <br />material will have a baked enamel finish, otherwise it will <br />be painted. All unitg., will be screened on all elevations. <br />Plans were somewhat revised to give a tapered effect on the <br />sides. S. Ebin moved to approve the plans as presented, <br />seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Case questioned Mr. Richland as to why outer east/west <br />drive (adjacent to Chi Chi's) could not be moved south to <br />run parallel to line of parking lot lights, leaving parking <br />for Chi-Chi's on same side of street as restaurant. Mrs. <br />Case requested that Planning Commission take note of this <br />suggestion. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />(a) Sopata Construction Co. (C. Petroski, Architect), 24834 Lorain Rd. <br />Renovation of existing dwelling to office building with <br />garage addition. <br />Mr. Petroski, Architect, presented a model of proposed structure.
