ROLL CALL: <br />/d <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at r8-:-4-6-p.m. <br />Present: J. Burns, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, J. Brown <br />and B. Gorris <br />Absent: J. Prokasy <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building <br />Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant City Engineer <br />D. McDermott, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Morgan moved to approve the Minutes of January 26, 1982 as <br />presented,.seconded by R. Perla, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />Building Commissioner Gundy advised that both items 1 and 3 on <br />the Agenda have been withdrawn at the request of the developers <br />and will be heard at the next meeting. <br />(2) Burger King Restaurant, 26270 Lorain Rd. <br />Renovation of existing restaurant. <br />Mr. Gundy explained that there would be a small addition to <br />the rear of the building extending approximately 3' beyond <br />the existing roof line and a new front vestibule will be <br />added to replace the existing entrance. Mr. Quinn of Telt <br />Construction explained the plans. The drive thru area- will <br />be refinished to match the building. Ztao parking spaces in <br />the front will be eliminated, the seating will be reduced <br />from 86 to 82 and a new plexiglass menu board is planned. <br />A 4 foot chain link fence along the western boundry of the <br />parking lot will be installed to prohibit the customers of <br />the adjacent rez`7urant from parking in Burger King's lot. <br />Adjacent residents were concerned that the addition would <br />be much closer to their residence. They are.mainly annoyed <br />by a truck which makes deliveries in the early morning. <br />It was explained that the service door was to be relocated <br />to the side which would be further away from their house. <br />The District Supervisor stated that he would make arrange- <br />ments for this delivery to be made through the front entrance. <br />J. Roberts moved that the Burger King proposal be referred <br />to the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by T. Morgan, <br />and unanimously approved.
