r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 7, 1981 <br />. Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />Mayor Swietyniowski had sworn in new member R. Bugala on <br />October 6, 1981. <br />Present: C. Remmel, L. Horvath, W. Wasniak, and R..Bugala. <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Law Director M. <br />Gareau, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of September 2, 1981 <br />as submitted, seconded by W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. <br />1:. Gladine Elliott & Ernest Ress, 5360 Burns'Rdo <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 10' variance for width <br />of lot to subdivide one lot and add 20' of property to an ex- <br />isting.40 foot lot with a dwelling (sublot 2) in a"B" residential <br />area (70'.frontage required). Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1157.01A. Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. The request was amended to read""a?so <br />request for a 509.sq. ft. variance for lot area". It was explained <br />that there is an existing house on a 40' lot which is at present <br />non-conforming to the "B" residential area and the adjacent 40' <br />lot is being deuided between the properties on each side. It would <br />be impossible to give the Ress lot 30' because a purchase agreement <br />had already been written to the buyer on the other side giving him <br />20' to add to his property. L. Horvath moved to grant both variances <br />based on and contingerit upon the sale of the 20' section to Mr. <br />Ress and the sale to the other party, seconded by W. Wasniak, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2. Ed Share, 23253 Clifford <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request Special Permit to add to <br />non-conforming dwelling (35' front set back & less than 20' be- <br />tween existing dwelling and adjacent garage). Special permission <br />required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. (Variances denied on 5/6/81 <br />& 9/2/81 - this request is for a Special Permit only - garage ori_". <br />property will be moved). <br />Chairman Remmel;called all interested parties before the Boa'rd. <br />The oath was administered. It was explained that the garage was to <br />be.moved.. W. Wasniak moved to grant the Special Permit, seconded <br />by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved. Special Pernit granted. <br />- 3.
