Minutes of Landmarks Commission <br />November 19, 1981 <br />Present: Vice Chairman Marlene Orzedhowski, Mamie Albright, <br />John Romano, Lois Van Auken, Robert Hunter, Julie <br />Brown and Chairman Betty Lord (8:30 p.m.) <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m. by.Vice Chairman <br />Marlene Orzechowski. <br />Minutes of June 22, 1981 meeting approv.ed. <br />Minutes of September 22, 1981 meeting approved. <br />Minutes of October 15, 1981 meeting approved. <br />Marlene advised as of this date Landmarks has a balance of <br />$1119047. <br />Correspondence: Preservation News <br />Bus Line: Marlene advised she had call from Mary Slama regarding <br />items from the Bus Line committee. Proclamation is in bus line <br />office. Discussion followed regarding placement of bus line <br />display. Consensus was the east wall in council chambers would <br />be good location. Marlene will so a•dvise Mary Slamaa Other <br />items will go in archives. <br />Site Marker: Copy re-written for NOMBL and will be ordered <br />irnmediately. Cost now $675.00. <br />H.B.R.P.: Julie advised one of the three date stips was incorrect. <br />Firm has been contacted and will correct. Upon checking this <br />evening we find they are also not the ri$ht size to fit the <br />plaques. Will contact Champion again. <br />Betty Lord read sample of follow-up letter to be sent owners <br />considered in this program. These will be sent after three <br />plaques"_are presented to Kitson, Pearson and Schmeidlin. <br />Appropriations discussed: 1.) Polaroid camei•a & 3 packs film - <br />$150. (Lois Van Auken to secure), 2) Envelopes.and stationery <br />$ 20. (Julie.Brown to ch.eck)o and 3) Legal size envelopes - 25. <br />New Business: 1.): Budget for 1962 discussed <br />2) Cabin renovation - letter to be sent <br />3) Reappointments to Landmarks Commission. <br />Yvonne Petrigac requested not to be ineluded. <br />4) Annual report <br />Meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m. - <br />Julia K.
