? - v <br />CITY Or NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COPIMISSION <br />MINUTES - JANUARY 23, 1979 <br />I.. ROLL CALL: Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. <br />Present: J. Brown, R. Bugala, B. Gorris, J. Roberts, D. Ryan and <br />W. Ohman <br />Absent: J. Prokasy <br />Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Assistant City Engineer <br />McDermott, Building Commissioner GLmdy and <br />Recording Secretary Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTIOII OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Bugala moved to correct the mi.nutes of January 9, 1979 by <br />adding the name of Assistant City Engineer McDermott as being <br />in attendance. Also under the section Election of Officers, <br />Mr. Roberts moved to insert the word "open".in the first sentence. <br />T'ne sentence should read "Chairman Roberts declared nominations <br />were open in order to elect officers...". J. Brown moved the minutes <br />of January 9, 1979 be approved as corrected, seconded by W. Ohman <br />and unanimously approved. <br />III,. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(a) Building Commissioner Gimdy asked that the Kassouf Retail <br />Stores proposal at 27650 Lorain Road be deferred at the <br />applicant's request. <br />(b) Mr. Gundy then presented the Romp Brothers' office building <br />proposal at 24579 Lorain Road. This proposal had been heard <br />at the Architectural Review Board meeting. of Jan.15, 1979. <br />Air. Routeman; representing the architect, 24r. Dorsky, advised <br />that the suggested changes were included in the plans.he was <br />now presenting. However since the minutes of that meeting <br />were not available to the-Commission, Mr. Roberts moved that <br />the case be continued. Seconded by D. Ryan and unanimously <br />app rove d. <br />(c) Building Commissioner Gundy then introduced Tuff-Kote Dinol <br />which had been originally heard November 14, 1978. At that <br />meeting the proposal had been approved subject to the removal <br />of the gas pump islands, which were left there by the former <br />occupants, the Pure Oil Co. who are still the owners of the <br />property. The minutes of the November 14, 1978 meeting were <br />read by Secretary J. Brown. Arepresentative of Tuff-Kote Dinol <br />? explained that Pure Oil would lease the property_to.them only
