<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMETED <br />BOARD OF ZONING. APPEAIS <br />Feb: l; 1978 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m; <br />Present: Chairman Ledvina; Messrs. R, Ackley, C. Remmel. Also present, <br />Building Commisszoner E. Gundy, Law Director M: Gareau and Re- <br />cording Secretary V;.Hodgins; and Councilman Beaty. <br />Mr. Ackley moved minutes of Jano 4, 1978 be approved as submitted: Mr. <br />Remmel seconded, and motion passed. <br />lo Renewal of reguest of Friends Church for special permission to build <br />church in residential area:. Plans are the same as those submitted <br />and approved Nov; 10, 1976 (variance expires Nov. 10, 1977).SPecial <br />permission required by Ord. 62=33 aection 1151001 (E)o. <br />Oath was administered to individuals representing the church group <br />and many neighbors. Niodifications to plans were shown. Plans as ap- <br />proved were studied. Building Commissioner Gundy confirmed plan be - <br />fore the Board is the plan approved by Planning.Commission and this <br />Board Nov: 10, 1976. After lengthy discussion Mr. Remmel moved to <br />grant special permit with approval of the Building Commissioner re- <br />garding lights and in accordance with plans as submittede Mro Ackley <br />seconded, and motion passed, <br />2. Request of M. Matynka, 24620 Clareshire to convert garage in multiple <br />residence district i,nto family room. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />1213001, Par: "A". x1,so violation of Orde 62-33 Section 1129001 <br />(Building Permit)o <br />Oath was administered to Mr: Matynkav After short discussion Mr. Ack-, <br />ley moved to deny the request. Mr: Remmel seconded, and motion passed. <br />3. Vienna Construction, Inc., 23583 I,orain Rde Request for variance (1133. <br />13).. Request for 5 fto variance. Request to subdivide Sub I,ot #6 (a- <br />cross from 3936 Udalter R.d.). Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1157.01 <br />requiring 70 ft. frontage. <br />Oath was administered to Mre Kadar, the developer, and others. Plans <br />were studied. Discussion was held as to division of entire length of <br />frontageo Mro Remmel moved to approve the subdivision of Sub Lot #6 <br />into two (2) 67085 fte lotsP Mr. Ackley seconded; and motion passed. <br />4. Poppin Fresh Pies, Inco, 802 Beton Court,Wheeling, Ill. 60090, Re- <br />quest for variance (1133e13)o Request to build restaurant commissary <br />combi,nation; Violation of Ord. 62-33 cection 11730010 <br />Representative of Pillsbury Mills was administer-ed the oathe During <br />discussion it was learned plans include manufacture and distribution <br />of products to other Ppppin Fresh Fies restaurantsg not a permissive <br />use in retail district.
