? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMS':i'ED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />oct. 5, 1977 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.mo <br />Present: Chairman Zedvina, Messrs, Huntington, Remmel, Prati and Ackley. <br />Also Present: Mr. Gareau, Law Direcotr, Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner and Mrs. <br />Hodgins, Recording Secretary. <br />NIr. Huntington moved to approve minutes of 5eptember 7, 1977• r'Ir. Remmel seconded, <br />and motion passed. <br />1. tt'alter Pelech, 23460 Zorain.Rde Request for variances (1133.13). Request for <br />2 ft. front setback variance, request for variance of less than 20 ft. between <br />commercial and residentials Violation of Ord. 62•-33 Sections 1174.02 and 1174. <br />06. Also request to add to non-conforming. Special permission required by <br />Ord, 62-33 Section 1231002. <br />Chairman Ledvina invited ali.interested persons to assemble before the Board. <br />V'fitness, before testifying, was sworn in. N1r. Gundy explained the request. <br />Residential home is non-conforming by virtue of the business use. Porch is <br />basically covered; request is to enclose. Mr. Remmel moved to grant variances <br />in total as requested and special permission to add to non-conforming. Mr. <br />Huntington seconded, and motion passeda <br />2. Frances B. Heyman, 4223 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133e13)• Request <br />for 10 in. height variance for fence (existing). Violation of Ord. 62-33 Sec- <br />tion 1151eo4 (x). <br />Chairman Ledvina invited all interested persons to assemble before the Board. <br />Z^'itness, before testifying, was sworn in. Citation for violation of the Ord. <br />had been issued. It is a three rail fence installed by Westview Lumber Co. <br />After short discussion Mr. Huntington moved to deny the requesto Mr. Remmel <br />seconded, and motion passed. <br />3• Harry E.
