Huntington, Remmel and Prati. <br />A1.so Present: Mr. Gareau, Law Director, Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner and Mrs:. <br />Hodgins, Recording Secretary; Councilmen Boehmer, Sharpe and Sarin- <br />ger. <br />The August 3:, 1977 minutes were corrected as followse Case No. 14 should read <br />"NIr. Remmel movecl to grant variance for construction of continuance of 36 in. <br />fence" etc.. Mr. Huntington moved to accept minutes as corrected. Case to be judged under ruling <br />powers of the Boardo After discussion Mr. Remmel moved to reverse the Build- <br />ing Commissioner as to designating this as a fence under the ordinance. Mr. <br />Huntington seconded the motion. Rol1. Call: Messrs. Remmel, Huntington and <br />Ledvina, yes; Mr. Prati, no. Motion carried. <br />l. Glenrz F. Triplett, 5646 Burns Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for 4 ft. 9 in. sideline variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1161°01. <br />Chairman Ledvina invited the applicant and all other interested persons to <br />assemble before the Board. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. <br />Above ground pool is involved. Requirement is to have same 10 ft. from side <br />line'and 10 ft. from rear line. Mr. Huntington moved to deny this request <br />for variance; and to provide a 90 day grace period within which to comply. <br />Mre Remmel seconded; and passed. Request denied. <br />2. Leonard R. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. <br />A 15 sq. ft. over permissive sign area of his rental area in Cedarwood Plaza <br />is planned; facia sign on top of buildinga Mr. Huntington moved to deny the <br />requeste Mr. Prati seconded? and motion passed. Request <br />for 1 ft. 8 ine sideline variance for fireplaceo Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1161.01o Also request to add to non-conforming. Special permis- <br />sion required by Ord, 62-33 Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Ledvina invi.ted the applicant and a11 other interested persons to <br />assemble before the Board. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. <br />Sideline toward W. 233d St: is shvrt; thus non-conforming. After short dis- <br />cussion Mr. Huntington moved to grant special permission and variance to al- <br />low constrizction of fireplace: Mr. Remmel seconded, and motion passed.
