Ledvina, Ihzskey, Olson, Hamill9 and Tubbs. <br />Also Present: E. Gundy, Building Commissioner, M. Gareau, TLaw Director, <br />D. McDermott, 4ssis-tant City Engineer and V. Hodgins, Re- <br />cording Secretary. <br />Chairman Ledvina stated Item A, Iawrence rlcDermott, will be con'uinued due <br />to improper legal notice. <br />Continuance of hearing of request for Shore West Construction Co., 5965 <br />Louis Dro Request for variance (1133a13). Request for 20 in. sideline <br />variance at 27933 Southern Ave. for chimney. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1161e01. <br />Present: Fred Bower who was administered the oath. Mra Olson had made <br />on site inspection and found the chi.mne,y to be L6 inches a- <br />? way from Mrs. Wood's drive; he feels gas meter is bigger <br />problem than chimney in turning around in drive. Woods' <br />driveway goes right to property line. No other place for <br />chimney, but the mason should not have built it knowing there <br />Vaas question, Mr. Olson moved to grant variance for chimney <br />as requested. NIr. Hamill seconded the motion. Nessrs. Olson, <br />Hamill, Ledvina and Duskey voted aye iahile Mr. Tubbs abstained <br />from voting. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151004. <br />Presnet: 14r. Petonovich who was administered the oath. Case and appeal <br />were reread and plans were examined. Messrs. Olson and Hamill <br />had inspected the premises and in their opinions an awful lot <br />of fence is plannedo Dogs behind are a menaces 1'li7.s Hamill <br />suggested the use of shrubbery. iv,r. dlson moved to reject the <br />request. Nr. Duskey seconded and motion passed, <br />1. Roger E. Clingman Construction Co., 19780 S. Sagamore Rda Request for <br />variance (1133•13)• R.equest, for setback variance on south side of Brook- <br />park Road between Clague and Grace. Violation of Orde 1159.01 (b). <br />Presents Mr. Clingman9 Mr. Frindt and many other neighbors. There was <br />10 some discussion of proper and improper notice. Law Director <br />Gareau said there is sufficien'u notice and case can be hearde <br />Case and appeal were read. Uditnesses were administered the oath. <br />Chairman Iredvina explained background of the parcels involved and <br />action taken by Planning Commission. 14r.
