PLANNING_ COMMISSION <br />october 28, 1975 <br />I. <br />II. <br />III. <br />IVo <br />Roll Call <br />Chairman Prokasy called the meeting to order at 8::10 p.mo Present: <br />Chairman Prokasy, Secretary Eian, Messrs. Freeh and Tischler. <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Gundy, Assistant City Engineer <br />McDermott, I,aw Director Gareau and Recording Secre- <br />tary Hodgins. <br />Review and Correction of PZinutes <br />On Page 3 second paragraph from bottom minutes of Oct. 14, 1975 <br />meeting were corrected to read "the State of Ohio 18 ft. overpass <br />will be immediately adjacent to the new houses". Mr. Freeh moved <br />minutes of last meet3ng be approved as corrected. Mr. Tischler <br />seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />Building Department Requests <br />Nlro Gundy presented revised site plan for Waldo Nursery. Building <br />is to be used for storage of supplies and equipment; buil.ding is <br />5,000 square feet; there is no specific requirement for off street <br />parking inasmuch as the building is for private use. Approval for <br />subdivision of the land has gone on to Council for action. Cotuncil- <br />man ,Saringer, Mrv Waldo and Mr. Christoff, a neighbor, were present. <br />P1ans were examined. Driveway is approximately 45 ft. wide at its <br />most narrow pointo Mr. Christoff spoke of dust from trucks and dixt <br />piles, which blows in his direction. Mr. Christoff spoke further of <br />his and two other adjacent neighbors' problems. Pqrs. Eian spoke of <br />planting shrubbery. Ms. Z,ialdo said he is attempting to improve and <br />beautify -the propertya Mr. Christoff spoke of his hardship during <br />the ti.me of jrJaldo's ownership. Planned is removal of any gravel <br />piles and any piles of dirt from behind Christoff and adjoining <br />neighbors' properties; with mulched and sprinkled shrubbery instead. <br />It was noted that Mr. tidaldo has been cited on nuisance charge. NTr. <br />Christoff said he will go along if condition is improved and main- <br />tained. Mr. Tischler moved, subject to acceptance of resubdivision <br />by Council'p site plans of 1-4'aldo Nursery be approved subject to the <br />requirement of paved area and providing paved area is planned in <br />good trafflc patterno NIr. Freeh seconded and motion passed. <br />Old Business <br />(a) Deerpath Subdivision #6 - south side Elm Rd. at Brendan Lane - <br />13 sub lots. <br />Copies of preliminary plat were distributed by Mr. McDermott. <br />Assembled before the Commission at this time were Nr. Cling- <br />man, Councilman Saringer and many neighbors.
