Votava, Lewis, Esgar, Eullere Mro Bittel wa.s absent. <br />Mr. Paul ILe11er submitted a revised plat of his proposed sub-division off <br />Alexander Road. A11 lots were found to be of sufficier_t size. Mro Ke11er <br />will now prepare plans for sewer and waterm <br />The Lavoie Sub--division No. l, consisti.ng of 21 lots facing NlcKenzie Road <br />was submitted to the Planning Commission, The plat was found to be satisfac- <br />tory, and the party was told that the Planning Commission Vrould app.rove the <br />sub-division when a deed was given to the city for the 60-foot strip that <br />will later be a road. <br />Mr. Esgar made a motion that the sub-division be approved f or presentatior_ to <br />the Council as soon as Mr. La.voie gives the City of PTorth Olm,ted a deed for a <br />60-foot strip that will later be made into a road. Mro Euller seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed. <br />Mr. Bogardus arid AIx'• Lindsay asked about the width of a second proposed street <br />on the proposed sub-division on Walter Road (see minutes of last meei,ing). <br />The street can be only 50 f eet wide where it enters on Znialter Roa.d, but it was <br />reco*nmended that at a distance of 230 feet from Walter Road (existin; lot depth) <br />the street shou3.d be widened to 60 feet -to ease parking difficulties, ?- <br />Covering the study for rezoning Lor.ain Road west of Barton Road (see minutes <br />of August, 5, 1)54). A report from TIra Evprett Dean stated that this area is <br />ver,T unsatisfactory so fa,r as drainage is concerr_ed. Because of this fact9 <br />Mr> Votava made a motion that the Planning Comr?.ission recommend that the area <br />should not be rezoned for retail business. The motion was seconded by Nr.
