MINUTES OF A MEETIIvG OF THE PLAN14ING CONit11ISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTfi OLNISTED, OHIO HELD AT 8:00 P. M. <br />OCTOBER 11, 1955. <br />Present tiaere Messrso Votava., Esgax, Euller. Absent were Lewis, Ilannan. <br />TvIr. R. Clingman requested re-subdivision of sublots 61, 62., 63, 64 on the <br />north ea.st corner of Lansing and Oring Roads, into eight lots of widths vary- <br />ing fran 75 to 88 feeto The sub-division was approved for presentation to the <br />City Council. - <br />A letter addressed to the Planning Comrnission was received f rom E. M. Ghristman, <br />Clerk of Council, stating: <br />"In the future, when considering new sub-divisions for acceptance by <br />Council, the developer should be notified that according to Section 2, <br />Article 3 of the Zoning Ordina.nce, the developer must put up vrith the <br />City Auditor, an amount estimated by the City Engineer, sufficient to <br />pay the cost of inspection by the City Inspectors for laying water <br />?ines, sewers, improving streetg sidewalks, etc.. <br />Mra Votava sta.ted that Tir. Baker of City Council asked if the property on the <br />north siae of Lorain Road and west of Silverdale, was going to be rezoned for <br />retail businessa This matter came to the attention of the Planning <br />Commission on MarcYi 22 anct May 34 1955 at which ticr?e it was recommended that <br />no netii areas be zoned foz° business at the prssent time, but that future <br />business areas be included along with other changes in the zoning ord.inance, <br />ncw being studied by the Planning Commission.
