MINUT"rJS OF A PEETING GF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED'HELD AT 8:00 P.M. <br />May 14, 1957 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Present were Messrs. Votava, Levais, Grumney, Hannan and Esgar. <br />Mr. August Scha°eiber owns a 3;ot on the south side of Lorqin ftd. with 2011 o:f frontage. <br />A sub-division was approved that divided the area i.nto two lots, one 65.331 wide and <br />the other 135.69, wide. Lot depth is in excess of 830ee <br />Mrs. C.E. Siegworth, 5257 Dover Rd. x°equested that her lot (see minutes of Oct. 9, 1956) <br />be divided to provide a lot on Lucydale, 60' wide and 1201 deep. She was told that the <br />minimwn lot size in that area is 701 x 1551. She said that she and her husband would <br />have to give the ma.tter further consideration. <br />Mr. Frank Alexander, representing W.L. Rinyu and Co,9 requested that a lot on the east <br />side of Martin Drive, and between Brookpark and Oring roads, which has 203.50 of frontage <br />and 3901 deep be divided into three lots og widths 74,74,75..55 feeto The sub-division <br />was approved. <br />Mr. M.W. Bente requested that sub-lots 465 through 469 of 401 width on Decker Rd, be <br />changed into three lots of 70,70,and 60, in widthm The re-su adivision was approved. <br />Dx°. Lewis presented a proposal by the Citizens Committee that was appointed some time <br />ago by then Acting Mayor E.W. Baumgardner to study the portion of Zoning Ordinance <br /># 2445 relating to Limited Industry. This proposal was for a new version of Articles <br />XI and XII of Ordinance # 2445. The 4ralinance was read and considered by trie Planning <br />Commission. <br />Dr. Lewis made a motion9 that was seconded by Mr. Grumney, that the last sentence o.f <br />Section #4 of Article XI dealing with the style and materials for buildings in the <br />Limited Industrial District be omitted, because it is not believed to be enforceable <br />by law. Motion passed. Mr. Esgar voted nay. <br />Mr. Esgar made a motion, that was seconded by Mr. Grumney, that the Planning Coffinission <br />recommend to City Council that Articles XI and XII of Ordinance #24Li.5, as proposed <br />by the Citizens Committee, with deletion stated above, be incorporated in Ordinance <br />#2445 in a manner determined by City Council. Motion passed. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Grunuiey and seconded by Mr. Hannan, that an additiona,l 20, <br />of width on the first 182,76, of Whitethorn Ave., (from Lorain Rd.) be accepted <br />from Cuyahoga County fox° street purposes.
