MINUTES OF A MLETING OF THE PI,APdNIA1G COMMISSION OP' THE
CIT`I OF NORTH OLMSTED HELD AT $s00 P. I?s
Wcx 12, 1957
Present were Messrs. tiTOtava, Lewis, Esgar, Grumney, Harman.
Mr. Peter Kleist (see minutes of 14arch 2, 1957) brought in revised plats
for nine lots on Port,er Road. The plats iā¢rere approved by the Planning)
Commissiono
14r, Franlc Rosenstein of 5832 Stearns Road, ovrns a 1ot 141,251 wide at said
address and requested that the lot be divided into two lots of widths of
73 and 68.25 feet, With this division the side yard for an existing dwe]ling
would be too narrotia and the othez° lot would be too narrow according to the
Zoning Ord.2nanceo The Planning Commission told Mr. Rosenstein tYiat the
Planning Commission could not approve his sub-division, since it would violate
the Zoning Ordinance a.nd recommended that he take the matter up t?rith the
Zoning Board of Appeals.
A motion was made by Mr. Esgar and seconded by Mrm Grumney that an inquiry
be made to the City Council to determine the status of their program for ob-
ta'ning-future playground areas in North Olmsted. I?r. George Stewart (see minutes of Auoust 14, September 11 and September 25,
1956) .presented a plat of the E. H. and G. M. Mahler Sub-Division consisting of
43 lots, most of them 751 tvide. The sub-division is located on the east side
of C.olunbia Road, north of Gessner Roadr
The areas of all the lots appear,to. be accepta.bleF but the depth of some lots
is small so that a 50' set-back does not appear feasible, on lots 1. and 2.
M,r. Stewart was asked to ch.ange the side building line set-back on lot 38
(corner lot) increasing it to 25 feet. He was also told that signatures were
required on the plat and sewer plans woul.d have to be providede Mr. SteVrart
plans to brin; the plat back at the next Planning Commission meeting.
14r. Pohner, representing Mr. Bernadine, requested that a lot 197.22 x 404.36
ozi the northwest corner of Martin Drive and Brookpark Rd. be divided into two
lots, of 80 and 117.22 feet in width. The sub-division TAras approved,
The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P. M.
Secre,t, ry i f rairman
V .
