MINUTES OF MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED <br />JDNE 10' 1958 - 8s00 P.M. <br />Present were Mayor Gareau and Messrs. Sipe, Grumney, Hannan and Barnese <br />Alexander Kanaxeff, Engineer for the City of North Olmsted, attended the <br />meeting and was introduced to the Planning Commissionm <br />PZrs Gundy and Mr; Oviatt also attended the meetingm <br />The minutes of the meeting of Ma,y 27th were approved as reado <br />Mr. C. Pennington appeaxed before the Plazuzing Commission as a representative <br />of Olmsted Colony' Incm' a subdivision on the urest side of MacKenzie Roadm <br />Frank Hausimann9 Donald L. Johnson (President and Secretary, respectively9 of <br />Olmsted Colony' Inc.) and Ntre 41i11iam V. Halishak also appeared in order to <br />present the new platt of Olmsted Colony Subdivision No. 1, Lots 1 to 35 in- <br />clusive. Mr. Pennington read a letter addressed to Council and Planning <br />Commission giving pertinent facts about Subdivision No. ls <br />Mra Kanareff made suggestions for correction of plat. The subdivision should <br />carry the seal of a registered surveyor, as Vrritten in the revised State Code. <br />A copy of the letter to Council and deed restriction iaas presented part of <br />the minutesa Subdivision No. 1 would consist of Lots 1 and 2 on Maplehurst <br />. Road, Lots 3 to 16 inclusive and 21 to 35 inclusive on Holly Drive and Lots <br />17 to 20 inclusive on Cyprus Drive. <br />14r. Oviatt expressed an opiniori that a 3 foot easement would not be enough. <br />ior Utility Company. k motion was made by Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs Hannan, that the plat be <br />accepted for recording purposes only, subject to the signature of a registered <br />surveyor, covering Olmsted Colon.y' Inc, Subdivision Noa 1. The motion was <br />passed. "Yeas" Sipe' Grumney, H-annan and Barnes. <br />PZr. Knecht appeared be£ore the Commission as a representative of the Benes <br />Company. . <br />T,Ir, Gundy submitted plat plans as follows for approval of paxking area: <br />1. Store building for J. M. Fields Cos covering off-street <br />parkingm 'Drawing dated 12/13/57, revised 1/15/58; <br />axchitect - Louis L. Baldwina Plat checked meets paxking <br />requirements only. <br />2. National City Bark - architect: Garfield-Harris-Schafer-Flynn. <br />& Williams, Job No. 5810, drawing dated 5/5/58e Parking area checked okay. <br />3. Bowling Al1ey and stores on Lorain Road & Brookpark Road for <br />the RenmHoff Corporationg dsawing dated 6/5/58. Parking asea checked "okay"s <br />4. Bible Presbyterian Church - Pana House, Inc. - drawings dated <br />4/25/58, Parking area shown not adequate but the rear lot is large enough <br />to meet requirements.
