A motion dvas ma.de by Mr. Barnos, secorided by 1?re Grumney and approved unaminously by the Commission to appoint Mr o Kadylak Chai.rman of the Comnv.ssion. (Refer to Julp 14th min.ut es .) 1ira PSurray appeared before the commission with a petition signed b3? residents in the vicinity of 25459 Lorain Road stating that they wou:Ld consent to a proposed bowling center t o be buitt on the Von Duyke property at the above address. iVir. -Grumney made a motion to send a Zetter to Council, includang -,rv-ith it the peti•tion by IVlr. EZurray ard the request £or rezoning by Piiro Von Duyke9 asking the Cotincil to consider rezonirg the subject ptat oi ground (372 feet fronting on Lorain) for commercial use, based on its merits; and to send a co-oy of the J.ul.y 14th, 1959 minutes of the Planning Cornmi.ssion. Biskind appeared before t'ne Conmission rznd presen-ted a PJfaster Area Vievi of the Great Tlorthern Shopping Center slzovring existing faci'lities and proposed future expansion. The first step towards this Urtaster Plan is the construction of a 32 7.ane bovrling alley, complete viith pro shop, mesting room, snack a.nd l.ounge bar. The pla.ns for saa.d bowlin; alley have beerc pr asente& to Building Commissioner Gundy vrith a plan shoVii.nn the layout on shopping center propercy. The location and type of construction applias aith the State of Ohio Codem 1.'?x. Biskind read a letter from the Ohio Depa.r-tment of Industrial Relations, Division of Factory and BuiYding Inspection 1uhich approved this. The Commi.ssion 14va.s asked to approve the parking facilities for the bowling a11ey. The aroa of the building -A1l be approximately 2•9,200 square feet and the parking a.rea wilZ be 111,200 squsre feet.
