Said public hearing involved appZication by <br />Central dutdoor Advertising Coa,Inca to erect a commercial billboaxd 44.6' x <br />10.3' in the industrial zoned property so;;.therly of Brookpark Road a.nd easterly <br />of the Great Northern SY?opping Center. This sign is designed to advertise the <br />Union Savings and Loan Co e tivhich has a branch bank in said shopping center. <br />Consider.atzon. of `..said application'..is, based :on.th.e.conditions that location <br />of billbbard__be more than 60' from rioht of sray and in such a position as not <br />to obstruct or interiQre with egress or ingress to the snopping centor from <br />Brookpgxk Road. Said permit'to be issued hereunder sha11 be further conditioned <br />in that the erection and maintenance of sign for its existence be a"b:Leed type" <br />board (no frame). <br />pThe solicitor has advised that said zoning ordinance does no-E contain a <br />prohibi'Llion for such usage in such a zone and further, that such a use of <br />industrially zonod proper.ty has been judicially determined by the Supreme Court <br />of Ohio:: '?Q' <br />?.TO one in the audience pro to st ed the propo sed sign. <br />ITx'. Tlzis, tiould include 4 lots on Lorain <br />east of Steaxns and 6 lolus arest. <br />A potition was presented to the Commission v¢hich was incorrect. It rvas <br />suggested to l9`r. Chamberlin that he take out a new, correct petition and <br />resubmit it. He was also informed that a committee in Council is worlcing <br />on rezoning of intersections. <br />
