Ci?? iaf Nvdh (01111.6bb, (1?4iar <br />..?,,?..?,.. <br />SPECIAL MEETtNG OF TNE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />HELD AT THE ClTY HALL DECEMBER 27, 1960 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7e30 p.m. <br />Members presentt Edward Byers, William Greene, tiJ611ard Kiinite, and Lloyd Morgan. <br />Members absentt None <br />Also present: Ernest Gundy, Building Cornmissioner; Clarence Oviatt, City Solicitor <br />le Appellant: Em?pire Spring Co., James F. Rafferty - Abbe Road <br />Elyria, 0hio <br />This meeting was a special meeting for $he purpose of reviewing the appellant's <br />appea) for a use permit to build a small industrBat plant on a piece of property <br />adjacent to Brookparl< Road in North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />The portion of the minutes of the meet6ng of December 69 1960, pertaining to the <br />appeilant were read and approvedv <br />The members of the Planning Cortxnission were present at this meeting. Mr. Kadylak, <br />Chairman of the Planning Commission, stated that the Commission had no opinion to <br />offer on this matter, <br />Mr. James F. Rafferty again reviewed the entire matter, explaining what had trans- <br />pired since February 8, 1960, the date of the original application. The appellant <br />also proposed to build a temporary driveway from Kennedy Ridge Road providing <br />access to the property, with the thought that after there has been enough traffic <br />on this temporary driveway to warrant, the State Highway Department wiil provide <br />access through Brookpark Road. This driveway would also be used for other small <br />a,ndustriat p9ants who would join Empire Spring Bn developing this land zoned for <br />andustryo <br />Many residents of North Olmsted were present and. offered opinions pro and con and <br />also asked questions regarding the entire matter;-such questions over which the <br />Board has no jurisdiction or power to make decisions. <br />Mr. Ovtatt brought up the quest6on of how the appellant was going to provide water <br />to fihe industrial site. , . <br />It was moved by Mr. Byers erttl secooddd by Mr. Greene that the appeilant get specific <br />details and written consent from the Director of Utilities saying that Empire <br />Spring Company can get water facilities; and present such consent and details to <br />the Board at a continuance of this public hearing on January 10, 1961, at 7:30 p,m. <br />The motion was unanimously approved. <br />1'he meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m. <br />(iv`??/?,`?? r 4/?' l[?????
