MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PL9NNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUABY 16, 1960 <br />? <br />Present: Anthon,y L. I,aPonza' Ballard W. Vincentl Thomas J, Dorant <br />Thomas Biadas and Richard Mongello. <br />Absent: Joseph P. Kad.ylak <br />The meeting was ealled to order at 8s00 P.M. by Yice-Chairmaxx Ballard <br />Y.incent. <br />Mr. Saul Biskind stated that he would be willing to contribute $19000.00 <br />for a study of the Limited Industrial Zbned land that fronts on Brookpark <br />Road, pertaining to the stree.ta and other utilities that would be required <br />for the industrial development and a,lsog if possibles to get a projeetion <br />o£ tax revenue that would be possible for the complete development of the <br />1and. This' howePer, does not include the land which he now owns but <br />would include the layout of lots in the areae <br />A disaussion ensued as to the s3.ze of tYae lots in the industrial develop- <br />rnent amd City Engineer Alex Kanaref£ said that the Planriing Commission <br />would have to decide upon the size of tlie lots. This idea is being con- <br />sidered by the Commission. <br />Mr. Biskind also stated that if h3s plan weze approved, he would be wi1ling <br />to bring the sewer and water lines in his development up to the property <br />line for the further development of the adjacent propertye <br />Mr. Biskind also ffiade astatement that if the number of children exceed <br />the amount that was calculated in the McI{ay repoxt which has been sub- <br />mitted to the Commission, (see minutes of December 8th) compensation <br />would be made. He did not specify in what form but said that he woulcl <br />study this idea. <br />Mre Engogliam Terra,ce Drive Subdivision, who had previously presented a <br />plan to the Pla,nning Commission (see minu.tes of Noveanber 11' 1958 a <br />November 25t 1958 and I3ecember 9, 1958) requested permission to build in <br />North 0lmsted and lay the sanitary sewer laterals to serviee the homes <br />constructed and aarry the laterals to the treatment plant in 0lmsted <br />Toimship. He would start construction oxi 18 homes and in the next five <br />yeax°s complete 100 more. Saaiitaxy sewer easements oTrer sublots 8 and <br />9 would permit the diversion of sanitary sewerage from the Olffisted <br />TowTnship treatment plant to a future lateral to the north about 17001 <br />to the proposed city san3tary trunk.
