t MTNIITES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF NORTH OZMSTED March 8' 1960 Present: Joseph P. Kadylakg Anthony I,. IIaPonzan Ballard W. Vincent' Thomas J. Doran' Thomas Biadas and Riahard Mongello. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mrs Kadyla,k' Chairmano The'minutes of the meeting of Febrzzary 16th were read bg Mr. Mongellos Secretary. Proposed Rezoning - Brookpark Road Mr. Kadylak addressed the Commission with regard to the proposed rezoning of the Industrial Zoned Area and referred to a recent article which had appeared in the Cleveland Press relative to the proposed rezoning. During the dis- cussion which ensued' Mr. Kadylak stated that to his knowledge no interested parties have presented statistics relative to continuing the present zoning. In view of the importance of the issue, Mr. Kadylak was of the opinion that any action of the Planning Commission should be held in abeyance for at 1@2.3t 90 (3.a,}i8e It was moved by Mr. Kadylaks seconded by Mra Biadas, that aation be deferred for at least 90 days from the date of this meeting. "Yeas" Kadylakg LaPonzat Vincentt Doran' Biadas and Mongello. Mr. glbert Koontz' Juniox Chamber of Commerce, presented a report based on a ta$ duplicate favoring industrial la.nd. Copies are to be forwarded to members of the Commission. - Sunshine Realit.y. Inc. Mr. Milsteina Sunshine Reality In.c., submitted a preliminary plan covering a subdivision located off of Clague Road, consisting of 146 lots. It was moved by Mro Biadas, seconded by Mro LaPonza, that the preliminaxy pla.t be accepted and a temporary sewerage treatment pla.nt be approved for usage until such time as the city sanitary trunk reaches said development at Clague Road. Westlake Planning Commission - in view of the fact that the,proposed subdivision borders this municipality. 2. Mr. LeRoy Harris - inasmuch as Mr. Harris had expressed an interest in dedicating a portion of Hawkins, south of LeBern Drives it was decided to explore the possibility of Mr. Harris dedicat'ing that portion to the City of North Olmstedo Ldam Miller Mr. N[i11ex° submitted to the Commission a proposed sv.bdivision covering five lots on Barton 8oad. He was advised to eontact Mr. Clarence Oviatt covering a 601 reserved strip for road purposes; and, further, he was requested to re-submit a new preliminary plan showing the entire subdivision of approximately - 1 -
