t <br />MTNIITES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OZMSTED <br />March 8' 1960 <br />Present: Joseph P. Kadylakg Anthony I,. IIaPonzan Ballard W. Vincent' <br />Thomas J. Doran' Thomas Biadas and Riahard Mongello. <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mrs Kadyla,k' Chairmano <br />The'minutes of the meeting of Febrzzary 16th were read bg Mr. Mongellos <br />Secretary. <br />Proposed Rezoning - Brookpark Road <br />Mr. Kadylak addressed the Commission with regard to the proposed rezoning of <br />the Industrial Zoned Area and referred to a recent article which had appeared <br />in the Cleveland Press relative to the proposed rezoning. During the dis- <br />cussion which ensued' Mr. Kadylak stated that to his knowledge no interested <br />parties have presented statistics relative to continuing the present zoning. <br />In view of the importance of the issue, Mr. Kadylak was of the opinion that <br />any action of the Planning Commission should be held in abeyance for at <br />1@2.3t 90 (3.a,}i8e <br />It was moved by Mr. Kadylaks seconded by Mra Biadas, that aation be deferred <br />for at least 90 days from the date of this meeting. "Yeas" Kadylakg LaPonzat <br />Vincentt Doran' Biadas and Mongello. <br />Mr. glbert Koontz' Juniox Chamber of Commerce, presented a report based on a <br />ta$ duplicate favoring industrial la.nd. Copies are to be forwarded to <br />members of the Commission. <br />- Sunshine Realit.y. Inc. <br />Mr. Milsteina Sunshine Reality In.c., submitted a preliminary plan covering a <br />subdivision located off of Clague Road, consisting of 146 lots. It was <br />moved by Mro Biadas, seconded by Mro LaPonza, that the preliminaxy pla.t be <br />accepted and a temporary sewerage treatment pla.nt be approved for usage until <br />such time as the city sanitary trunk reaches said development at Clague Road. <br />"Yeas" KadylakD LaPonza, Vincent' Dorang Biadas and Mongello. _ <br />In connec'tion with the above, it caa.s the determination of tkie Commission that <br />letters be sent to the following: <br />l. Westlake Planning Commission - in view of the fact that <br />the,proposed subdivision borders this municipality. <br />2. Mr. LeRoy Harris - inasmuch as Mr. Harris had expressed an <br />interest in dedicating a portion of Hawkins, south of <br />LeBern Drives it was decided to explore the possibility <br />of Mr. Harris dedicat'ing that portion to the City of <br />North Olmstedo <br />Ldam Miller <br />Mr. N[i11ex° submitted to the Commission a proposed sv.bdivision covering five <br />lots on Barton 8oad. He was advised to eontact Mr. Clarence Oviatt covering <br />a 601 reserved strip for road purposes; and, further, he was requested to <br />re-submit a new preliminary plan showing the entire subdivision of approximately <br />- 1 -
