1 <br />MYNUTES OF A NIEETING OF THE pLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY 0F NORTH OLMSTED <br />April 26, 1960 <br />Present: Joseph P. Kadylak, Richard Mongello, Thomas Biadas, Thomas J. Doran, <br />Ballard W. Vincent, and Anthony T. LaPonza. <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P. M., by Chairman, Joseph P. Kadylak. <br />The minutes of the meeting of April 12, were read by Mr. Mongello, Secretary, <br />and approved. <br />It was moved by Mr. Kadylak, seconded by Mr. Vincent, the proposed subdivision <br />of Mr. William Pate be accepted, providing an area of approximately 300 x 240 <br />(3 lots),to be used at present for a sanitation treatment plant, be held for <br />future use as City property. "yeas" Kadylak, Mongello, Biadas, Doran, Vincent, <br />LaPonza. These changes were made in accordance with the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation and are being forwarded to the Council for approval. <br />A conununication was read from Mr. Biskind, requesting a withdrawal to rezone <br />property on the South side of Brookpark Road, between Fleharty and Columbia <br />Roads from industrial to multiple dwelling, administrative or professional <br />office buildings, and research laboratory use. Mr. Kadylak stated a motion <br />is pending, whereby no action or decision will be made by the Planning <br />Commission for a period of ninety (90) days, which time will expire on <br />June 8th, 1960. <br />With reference to the request received from Mr. Oviatt, regarding the depth <br />of the proposed commercial rezoning of the North and South sides of Lorain <br />Road, from Columbia Road, West, to the existing commercial zoning, it was <br />determined that the present depth of the existing Multiple Dwelling zoning <br />be used. `- ' <br />i. <br />Mr. KaIIareff presented a plat of the Candelight Subdivision. This is the <br />second time this plat was presented to the Commission. All necessary changes <br />were made in accordance with the request of the Planning Commission. A motion <br />was made by Mr. Biadas, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, that the plat be accepted, <br />providing an agreeable arrangement can be worked out between the developer <br />and Mr. Leroy Harris, who has property adjoining the proposed Hawkins Avenue. <br />The provisions are as follows: <br />1. That Mr. Harris deed his portion of 25 feet of Hawkins <br />Avenue to the City of North Olmsted, and reimburse the <br />developer of the Candelight Subdivision his proportionate <br />share of the paving costs of proposed Hawkins Avenue. <br />2. That the developer of the Candelight Subdivision deed to <br />the City of North Olmsted the block referred to as Block A; <br />lot size 96 x 114 feet, to be used by the City of North <br />Olmsted at its discretion. <br />3. If the developer of Candelight Subdivision puts in all of <br />the improvements of Hawkins Avenue, Mr. Leroy Harris, his <br />heirs or assigns, must pay back to the City of North Olmsted <br />their proportionate share of the part of Hawkins Avenue <br />that has been developed by the Candelight Subdivision before
