MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />May 24, 1960 <br />Present: Joseph P. Kadylak, Richard Mongello, Anthong T. LaPonza, <br />Thomas Biadas and Thomas J. Doranm <br />Absent: Ballard W. Vincent <br />The minutes of the meeting of May lOth were read by Secretary Mongello <br />Saul Shur <br />Mr. Saul Shur submitted to the Commission a drawing for a proposed sub- <br />division of 217 houses located directly behind the Great Northern Shopping <br />Center. A motion was made by Mrm Kadylak, seeonded by Mr. ZaPonza, to refer <br />this subdivision to a committee whose job it will be to study such elements <br />as sewage, water, etc. The committee, composed of Mre Kadylak, A7r. Vincent, <br />Nr. LaPonza and City Engineer Kanareff, will have this study prepared for <br />the next meeting. "Yeas" Kadylak, Mongello, LaPonza, Biadas and Doran. <br />Engoglia Construction Co. <br />Mr. Phillip Engoglia of Engoglia Construction Coe presented the Engoglia <br />Subdivision to theCommission for consideration. Mr. Mongello suggested',7.?,9rj-' <br />that the Regional Planning Commission member representing Olmsted ?aa---l% be ?-??---? <br />conferred with on what they are planning to do with the lots in Olmsted Falls. <br />Mr. Oviatt stated that he was of the opinion that it would not be necessary <br />for the Commission to concern themselves with this matter at the present <br />time. <br />It was moved by Mr. Mongello, seconded by Mr. Biadas, that the plot be <br />accepted for recording purposes only. "Yeas" Kadylak, Mongello, LaPonza, <br />Biadas, Dorane <br />Buckeye Enterprises (See minutes of April 12, 1960) <br />Mr. DiBenedetto of Buckeye Enterprises resubmitted his plans for the parcel <br />of land located on Lorain Road and West 231st Street directly across from <br />the Buckeye Motel, <br />It was moved by Mr. Mongello9 seconded by Mr. Biadas, that the land be <br />rezoned commercial for a depth of 860' on the easterly line and 1070, on <br />the westerly line. "Yeas" Kadylak, Mongello, LaPonza, Biadas, Doran, <br />It was moved by Mr. Mongello, seconded by Mr. Biadas, that the remainder <br />of the paicel, composed of 590' on the westerly line and 590' on the easterly <br />line be rezoned from residential to multiple dwelling. "Yeas" Kadylak, <br />Mongello, LaPonza, Biadas, Doran. <br />Lorain Road Rezoning <br />Mr. Kadylak read a letter from Mrs. Nicholas, member of Council, concerning <br />the rezoning of Lorain Road, from Columbia Road west to the existing commercial
